LAWRENCE FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS<\/h2>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5840b6e elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5840b6e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Founded in 1995 by federal member of parliament Charles-Eug\u00e8ne Marin, <i>Explorama: Sea, Mountains and Wonders<\/i> was, at the time, dedicated to introducing visitors to the wonders of the Gasp\u00e9 Peninsula. The centre educated visitors about the sea, the mountains, and Gaspesian culture and history. In a major shift, Explorama was transformed into a science museum and marine science centre in 2004.
