The Foundation’s objectives are to:

1. Establish and maintain a living collection of St. Lawrence marine species;
2. Raise awareness and educate the public about the St. Lawrence marine environment through museum exhibitions and interactive activities;
3. Educate visitors about protecting the St. Lawrence marine environment through shoreline and sea activities;
4. Offer an educational program aligned with the official school curriculum;
5. Encourage young people to learn about science through a science competition;
6. Contribute to the professional development of students in fields related to the Foundation’s mission;
7. Operate and manage the Smarter Seafood program to promote seafood products;
8. Operate, manage, and maintain a museum of the highest calibre.
